Vali, a king of the monkeys and a half-brother of the monkey-king Sugriva, who in Thai are known as Phali, which is often transcribed Bali, and Sukrihp, respectively. He is depicted as a monkey with dark green fur and usually wearing a chadah-style headdress with a conical peak of which the tip folds backwards.
