Soldiers in combat dress on a military mission, supported by heavy armour, and in Thai the motto of the Army Training Command, which translated reads: Building the Army by Training. Building Warriors by Education. Building Commanders by Virtue Development. In the top right corner is the the emblem of the Army Training Command, i.e. a golden chakra-disc around a torch with a black-and-gold handle and a red flame, over a black banner with in gold the text Krom Yut Seuksah Thahaan Bok. Whereas the chakra is both a weapon and the symbol of the Chakri Dynasty, the torch stands for Enlightenment, a Buddhist principle, as well as a concept for knowledge, like passing on the Torch of Knowledge through education.
