An Asian Brown Flycatcher spotted in Bangkok. It is best distinguished by the whitish orbital rings, the faint brownish-grey wash on the breast, and the broad-based blackish bill, with a pale based lower mandible.

 

The underparts are whitish and the upperparts greyish-brown, whilst the undertail is also white, but with a black tip.

Typical also is the big head compared to the size of the body, yet this is a feature common in most flycatchers.
