    					domesticated elephants are often decorated with 
						colourful drawings on their skin, as is the case with this 
						individual, seen walking on a road in the Indian capital. Indian elephants are 
						nowadays formally listed as a subspecies of the
						
						
		Asian Elephant, 
						and is listed as the same subspecies as the Thai 
						elephant, namely
