dragon rise up to chase a crystal ball held by an acrobat sitting atop of another high
pole. At the bottom
of the stamp is a red
baiwen or ‘white characters’
seal (fig.),
with the nonspecific designation
yin zhang,
showing the Chinese characters
Chun Jie
(春节), which translates as
‘Spring Festival’. In the
background are fireworks, which in Thai are called
dokmai fai
(fig.). |
