  Dinh Bo Lin

Statue of the first Dai Co Viet Emperor Dinh Bo Lin, who reigned from 968 AD until his death in 979 AD, as the first emperor of Vietnam, as well as of the Dinh Dynasty. He is posthumously referred to as Dinh Tien Hoang, the name also given to a temple in Hoa Lu (fig.) dedicated to this emperor.
