It features the city's coat of arms (fig.) in white on a dark green field, depicting the Hindu deity Indra (fig.) seated on the four-tusked elephant Erawan (fig.) while holding a  trident and a elephant hook, with above it its Thai name: Krung Thep Maha Nakhon.
