  Grey-shanked Douc Langur

A Grey-shanked Douc Langur (fig.) at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center in Cuc Phuong National Park. It has a light grey back, outer legs and outer arms, blackish hands, inner legs, inner arms, breast and shoulders, a white chest, belly, bottom, tail and beard, and a dark orange neck. The skin of its face is largely pinkish, apart from the area of the mouth, which is white.

 

Its crown is whitish to light grey, with at the edge of the face some dark orange fur on the sides and a patch of black coloured fur in the middle.
