A male House Sparrow in breeding plumage. It was spotted perching in a tree, in Phitsanulok province.

 

It has a grey crown and rump, grayish-buff underparts, and white head-sides with a chestnut patch, that runs from behind the eye to the sides of the nape, as well as a large black bib, i.e. a patch on the chin and breast.

Furthermore, it has a black bill and a brown mantle, streaked with black, white and buff.

 

Its legs and feet are pinkish to greyish-beige.
