A Jambupati Buddha Image at the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Burma, shows how the Buddha changed himself into a great and mighty emperor, set in an unparalleled palace, and then had Jambupati, a mythological emperor who was too proud to listen to his words, brought before him. Witnessing the Buddha in all his majesty, Jambupati accepted the dharma and became a monk.
