Khun Thongdaeng, the 17th royal dog of King Bhumipon Adunyadet (Rama IX), and her litter of 9 puppies, named Thongchompunut (ทองชมพูนุท), Thongyod (ทองหยอด), Thong-att (ทองอัฐ), Thong-aek (ทองเอก), Thong-muan (ทองม้วน), Thongthat (ทองทัต), Thongphlu (ทองพลุ), Thongyip (ทองหยิบ), and Thongnopphakhun (ทองนพคุณ). Thongdaen was born as a stray dog (fig.) near Rama IX Road and now lives in Dusit Palace.
