  Kuvera (Kubera)

A statue of Kubera (fig.), otherwise known as Kuvera, the god of wealth, half-brother of Ravana and a grandson of Brahma, at Tantra Thewala, i.e. the ‘Tantra Idol Shrine’, which is also known as Wat Phra Siwa Chao, i.e. the ‘Lord Shiva Temple’, in Bangkok (fig.). He is depicted holding a large moneybag and some gold bars.
