The first ever lucky draw postage stamp in the form of a scratch lottery ticket issued to mark 130 years of postal services in Thailand and depicting the logo of the National Communications Day, i.e. a stylized messenger pigeon; a Smartphone; several different emoticons (smiley, etc.); a Quick Response Code; and a serial number. To participate in the lottery, buyers of the stamp have/had to register either by scanning the QR Code on the stamp by using a Smartphone, or by visiting the URL of the website directly, with registration allowed from the date of issue, i.e. 4 August 2013, until 31 October 2013, whilst the date for the lucky draw is/was set for 2 December 2013.
