The Queen Suriyothai Pagoda is a gilded, bell-shaped, redented chedi (fig.), with a white base and which contains the ashes of this popular 16th century heroic Queen, and is erected adjacent to the Queen Suriyothai Park and Memorial Shrine (fig.) in Ayutthaya, along the Chao Phaya River.
