	torih is a specific 
	style of  Japanese 
	 
	Shinto
	gate (fig.) 
	that has smaller pillars supporting 
	the main pillars on both sides (ryobu 
	means 
	 
	‘both parts’
	 
	in Japanese). This one is 
	erected along the 
	Thu Bon River (fig.) 
	in Hoi An, on the
