  Tham Khamin

Thailand

This stairway leads to the entrance of Tham Khamin, a limestone cavern in Tai Rom Yen, a circa 425 kmē National Park in Surat Thani.

The huge cave has a 1,250 meter long path that is open to the public and besides the usual stalactites and stalagmites, it also houses many bats. However, these flying mammals contribute to a foul smell inside the cave, which lead to the grotto being nicknamed Tham Men, literally the Stinking Cave.
