Than Tai, the Vietnamese god of wealth, similar to Chinese wealth deities, who are generally referred to as Cai Shen (fig.). He typically is one of two deities placed in small Vietnamese home altars (fig.), together with Tu Di Gong, the Chinese Lord of the Soil and the Ground, who in Vietnamese is known as Tho Cong (fig.).
