Thick-billed Pigeons are sexually dimorphic. Males (photo left) have a maroon mantle, whereas that of females (photo below) is green, yet both sexes have red legs and the same characteristic, yellow wing-bars and pale blue-green orbital rings.

 

Thailand

Different from females (photo right), males (photo above) also have light underparts and a grey crown.
