An adult female Wreathed Hornbill. It is predominantly black with a white tail, often lightly stained yellowish, and has a pale yellowish bill, with a darker, corrugated base. In addition it has a blue gular pouch with a black lateral streak on the underside. Like the male (fig.), it has red eyes and reddish bare skin patches around the eyes.
