    found in Petchaburi. It stands with an 
	  
    
    abhaya   
    mudra, representing ‘reassurance’ or ‘no fear’. The right hand is raised with the palm forward as a sign of protection and to take away fear. See also the Thai 
    variation where both hands (fig.) are  raised. These two variations are sometimes displayed together (fig.).
