Crickets, in Thai called jing rihd, have a flattened body and —depending on the species— have either long or short antennae. Some people, especially of Chinese origin, keep crickets as pets in small cages and specially designed cricket containers. They may be used in fighting games on which is heavily bet and the selling price for a good fighter can become quite expensive.
