  ka-loong put

Vietnam

A female musician playing the ka-loong put, a Vietnamese highland ethnic musical instrument made from hollow bamboo pipes, arranged horizontally and in increasing length, akin to a xylophone. It is played by softly clapping the hands in front of the openings of the pipes on one side, making the wind blow through them and thus creating sound.
