is    
a 
			kind of small, low-pitched, goblet-shaped hand drum, with a wooden 
or ceramic body.  
			In Central Thai traditional music, such as that of string ensembles, 
it is usually played in pair with the 
	
klong ram manah (fig.), 
and is hence referred to as 
 
thohn ram manah
			(fig.). |
