Kreuang khwaen is the general name for net or 
frame-like arrangements of stringed flowers or alternatively
popped 
rice. They are used as ornaments and hung 
at windows, doorways, gables, and so forth, as well as in certain traditional 
ceremonies, such as
	kreuang bucha and the
Malai 
Garland Festival in
