The logo Red Unnahlohm Society of Siam (fig.), i.e. the forerunner of the Thai Red Cross Society, consists of a red cross with a white diamond-shaped field with a red unnahlohm (fig.), i.e. an auspicious emblematic sign used in Buddhism and similar to the yan sign (fig.). It also appears on its flag (fig.).
