A living Common  
Seahorse, also known as 
an Estuary Seahorse, on display at an event in Bangkok, 
organized by the Department of Fisheries. In Thai, this species is known by the 
names 
			
			mah nahm dam and
			mah nahm thammadah, which means  
			‘black seahorse’ and  
			‘common seahorse’, 
respectively.
