The edible fruit of the
sour sack, which is referred to by the same
name, as well as the epithets prickly
custard apple, soursop and soursapi
(fig.), is
egg-shaped, dark green, and with a prickly skin. It can weigh up to 10
kilograms and grow to a length of up to 30 centimeters.
