Old photograph of the former three-story
		office building of the

		Ministry of Commerce,
an edifice in Renaissance style and which today houses the

		Discovery Museum
		(fig.).
Above the building is the number 100, which refers to the ministry's
centennial anniversary. In the first zero is the circular seal of the
ministry which was designed by Prince

	Narisara Nuwattiwong
		(fig.)
and consists of a depiction of a dancing

		Phra Witsanukam,

		the divine architect
		of Universe and the presiding

              Hindu
deity of all craftsmen and architects (fig.),
		on a

	kranok-style
		pedestal and surrounded

		by kranok motifs. The
second 0 of the number 100 is shaped in a form of a letter C, while

		in
front of the number 1 is a triangle that resembles the symbol on a PLAY
button, and together with the number 1 forms the letter M, hence the 100
can also be read as MOC which is the acronym for
					Ministry of Commerce. |
