  Wat Don Sak

Wat Don Sak is a Buddhist temple in Surat Thani that features a giant statue of Luang Poo Thuad (fig.), allegedly 34.9 meter tall, not including the base.

 

The temple was founded in ca. 1507 and also has a cave that today is known as Tham Singkhon and in the past was used as a natural storage room to stock materials.

The complex also a couple of decommissioned wooden fisher boats that are used as decoration, one of which has been installed at the entrance of the cave.
