  sumwimaan

Thailand

A sumwimaan is a kind of prasat noi (fig.). The term is a compound that consists of the word sum (ซุ้ม), i.e. a slightly convex or arched shaped facade, often with multiple arches and pinnacles, and the word wimaan (วิมาน), i.e. the abode of a deity.
